This week's House Mouse Challenge #34 is Springtime. I had a different take on this weeks challenge. The obvious is flowers and rain showers. After a long cold winter, I'm always excited to see Spring come as it's when I like to go visit friends that I haven't seen all winter. Who wants to go outside when it's cold and nasty? Not me! I hibernate. But when Spring comes; it's time to get out and see all those people I've been thinking about all winter!
I received some Tim Holtz Distressed Ink from my friend, Denise as part of my goodie pack I won during a KDT Birthday Bash. I have never used any Tim Holtz products before and wanted to give this ink pad a try so I made this background paper. And can I say I LOVE IT!?!?!? Thanks Denise for creating a Distressing Monster. I may have found my new fetish. Simple and dramatic! Love it.
Thanks for visiting and have a Happy Thursday!

Wow! You've done a great job with this card. I love the image, the coloring and the paper.
Nice job on the card! The House-Mouse gang thinks it was cool that you took a different approach to Spring, and since we're from up North in the USA ... we completely agree about hibernating. (Course I hibernate all the time since I'm a true mouse-potato). Keep on stampin' on!
p.s. That Boston cream cake looks yummy to my tummy!
Love how you did the background, great card!
What a beautiful distressed card! I love the embossing and stitching. Beautiful work!
