Dogwood Dreams

One of my husbands customers is a wood manufacturer. I visited and met them about a month ago. Very wonderful people. I was chit-chatting with one of the them and when he found out I made cards he took me into the back room and let me take some samples/scraps to play with. I almost passed out. This stuff is the coolest stuff I have seen in a LONG TIME! Last Friday, my husband had a meeting with the father of the business. I had made the above card and sent it with my husband to show them what I made with their scraps. They loved it! They asked me to make several more cards with their wood for them. They are going to a Trade Show in NEW YORK this weekend and wanted some of my cards to display in their booth! Again...I almost passed out. So this is what I have been doing all week. I have 5 cards done for them. I will be posting them all over the next few days for you to see. I really hope to be able to share this awesome product with all of you, but I need to get permission, of course, first!

This image is also another SNEAK PEAK into a McMahon Five Designs Digi Stamp. This is my Dogwood design. My Dad loves Dogwood trees, so I had him in mind when I drew this one. Let me know what you think of the wood product and my digi image too!

And to top it all off, I was able to include this in a Sketch Challenge! Kerry over at Three Clover Designs is having a May Flowers challenge. Well, Dogwood's fit right into that! My Dad's dogwood trees flower the end of May!

Have a wonderful evening!

Gorgeous Card. The woodgrain is beautiful (I believe it's called, Birds Eye) My hubby works with wood too.

Love your design. Thanks for playing on Kerry's 3CT May Flowers Challenge.
