MMSC3 - For I know The Plans

Here it is already...Week #3 in the Midnight Madness Challenge !! Below is the Sketch we were given for this weeks Challenge and above is my take on that Sketch. As you can see, I chose to do a graduation card. I had a custom order for a graduation card and I thought this layout was PERFECT for it. I'm glad it's finally Tuesday. I've been dying to post this card!! I love Tuesday's now!!

Alright, yes I used more wood! But you know what this is paper backed CORK! It is really, really thin, flexible and some of the coolest stuff I have seen! This cork has little wholes in it and I think they must have used a metallic paper to back it with. Maybe not, I could be wrong. But these little wholes have a metallic sheen that is so eye catching. I know photo's just do not do this product justice!! And to top it all off...it sews like a DREAM!

Be sure to join the fun and play along with all us gals over at Midnight Madness Challenge! I love seeing all your creations!

Stamps: No stamps on this one!
Inks: Verse was printed on computer, SU! Close To Cocoa
Papers: SU! Whisper White, Basic Black, Brushed Gold, Cork, Wood (background paper)
Accessories/Embellishments: Sewing machine, Sponges, Metal Dots, Slot Punch, Jolee's Graduation Cap, SU! Ribbon,

Love the natural look of this card, the cork dp on it is gorgeous and the buckles you made instead of the buttons!
