So I got this bright idea to make a Wooden Picture Frame for this Morning Glory on the front of the card. It took a little practice getting my mitered corners to match up properly, but once I got it I whipped right thru it! I used the 1/2" wide Precut Hickory Strip and the 3/4" wide Precut Birch Strip to make the picture frame! Why cut my own when I already have it PRECUT!?!?! Too easy!
Look at those cuts. Almost looks like I knew what I was doing! LOL!
I watercolored the Morning Glory with Stampin' Up Markers and an Aqua Painter.
I kept the inside quite simple. I used the 8-1/2" x 11" Hickory Wood Paper on the inside top flap and then just scraps on of the Hickory bottom flap.
Stamps: Stampin' Up Morning SoftInks: SU! Basic Black, SU Markers, Close to Cocoa
Papers: SU! Watercolor, Whisper White, Always Artichoke, Basic Black, 1/2" wide Precut Hickory Strip, 3/4" wide Precut Birch Strip, 8-1/2" x 11" Hickory Wood Paper
Accessories/Embellishments: Sponges, Aqua Painter, Dew Drops, Embossing Powder

OMGoodness Sue! This card with the wood frame is just amazing!! I never would have thought of that!!! Love how you colored the Morning Glories too! They are among my favorite flowers! Nice to have an order for another!!!
