MMSC18 - Christ is Born!

This beautiful ornament stamp was another one of my selections from our very generous monthly sponsor, DRS Designs.

I was really struggling with the colors on this. After about 8 different attempts I decided to use this color combo for the challenge. I love it. Soft and majestic. One of my other favorites was rich reds, greens and purples like I envision the Wise Men's robes to be colored. I'll be sure to post that one at a later date! :)

I used the Paper Tole technique on the main image part of the ornament. Lots of rich Platinum Stickles. I watercolored the ornament with Stampin' Up Markers and an Aqua Painter using the same technique I used for my digi's HERE.

I used Crystal Effects to glaze the main image as well. Beautiful gold metallic thread and ribbons and I also hand made the blue flowers with gold brad centers along the sides.

Be sure to hop on over to Midnight Madness to see the other DT's AWESOME work this week! WOW! You won't believe it!

This weeks sponsor is Creations By Penny. She has some fun digi's for you to try out!
