Stampin Sisters In Christ - Just for Kristine! :)

Kristine, your AWESOME card inspired me to get creative with the wood, baby! I made a little manger for baby Jesus. I had no clue how to do it, but I think I worked it out. I do love how this card turned out and my oldest son told me he really liked it. That's good enough for me! :) Little sweetie pie that he is.

I would have really loved to do some sewing on this one, but my machine died Monday. I'm still pouting and afraid to take it to get fixed! That kind of thing almost costs as much as getting a new one! HOWEVER, I'm looking at this situation differently. They didn't have sewing machines the day Jesus was born so my card is true to the times! :)

Thanks for the great challenge again ladies! I had fun making this one.

Okay you made me laugh, no there were no sewing machines back then, so for true authenticity, you should have punched holes and sewn by hand. :) I like it very much too, tell your son he has good taste.

OK you are peeking my interest in wood paper. It looks good in every setting that I have seen so far. That little baby is so cuddly cute. Nice job.

Thanks for sharing with us at SSCC.

I love how your manger turned out. I used this set for the SSCC too. I always feel like baby Jesus is floating away. I am going to have to keep your card in mind the next time I use this set.
