Welcome to Week # 35 of Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge! With it being a new month, we have a new monthly sponsor to go along with our new weekly sponsor! First, our sponsor this week is Sunflowers & Dragonflies. The image I used is called Cheshire Cat from their Alice in Wonderland collection designed by my friend, Jessica Grundy.
Our monthly sponsor is our very own DT Sister, Jeni of D'Amour Allure. She is offering several of the stamps she has produced and are only available at McMahon Five Designs as prizes this month. She now offers 2 stamp lines: Vintage Vanities and Pretty Little Things. Thanks, Jeni!
Aren't the little cat ears on her head just the cutest? I added Stickles, of course, to make them sparkle! I envisioned her sitting on something and a mushroom came to mind. I do not have any mushroom stamps so I cut out, stamped and airbrushed with Copics my own little mushroom.
I used my Cricut to make the grass. I also used my Flower Soft for the very first time. It took a couple tries but was really quite easy once I figured out which glue worked best. I added an ivory lacey leaf behind the image as well just to jazz up the background texture.
Congratulations to the winners! Be sure to check out the sketch this week as it's really simple and fun!

Very clever way to make a mushroom, Sue! The flower soft and grass was a great touch to make things dimensional. Did you use Aleene's glue? which one works best with those flower soft? :) Wonderful job on the sketch! xox ~Jeni
Wow Sue the one picture on the MM blog does not do this card justice. I love all the close up pictures. Such detail, it is beautiful. I know Jessica must be loving it. Thank you for making this week such a fun with with Jessica's image.
Hi Sue!

Cute card with sweet image. Love those FlowerSoft texture and the little cat charm is cool addition. I think I have that grass cartridge too, but my Cricut Expression from my husband in Christmas 2008 is still in it's original box and has not opened yet. My old Cricut has given to my niece, lol. Your project really inspires me to open my box from "2008", lol!
Hugs,
Cabio
I like the cat charm and the mushroom is so cool! Neat job with the flower soft!
