MMSC41- Wild Turkery's Roosting

Hi everyone! This is a new stamp from our Midnight Madness Monthly Sponsor, Cornish Heritage Farms. It is from their The Saturday Evening Post line.

I embossed the image in black and sponged the sunrise background. What goes perfectly with tree silhouettes? Wood paper of course! I used 3 varieties of wood paper: Cherry, Walnut, and Birch.

I tried out Priscilla's sewing technique she demonstrated in her tutorial last week. You can check that out HERE. I also thought this was a perfect opportunity to use Tim Holtz's Metal Flowers.

I used 2 different finishes of flowers. There are actually 3 finishes in the package. :) They were really simple to use. The 2 different kind of leaf patterns have brad holes in the ends. Start with a brad, choose your flower and insert the brad, choose a leaf and insert, and choose another leaf. It's a no brainer on quickly making a beautiful, unique embellishment!

Congratulations to all our winners this week! Well done ladies! Our weekly sponsor is Sew Many Cards! Be sure to check out their images, they are very cute!

Sue, I love the wonderful scene you have created here with this stamp. It is magnificent. The wood paper makes this look like it is framed. How spectacular that is and just a fabulous work of art.

Sue, sorry for the late visit. After these few busy weeks, I finally decided to stop everything from crafting for this weekend and reserve every single minute for myself to just enjoy visiting bloggers.
Love that metal flowers idea, the stamp image treatment and the stitches. Another stunning creation!!!
