Gone Fishing Digital Stamp

I decided to get a head start on my Dad's birthday card.  He's not a fancy man so I kept this very simple for him.  He loves wood carving so the Koa and Beech Wood Papers are right up his alley!  He loves fishing with the grandkids too.  He was trying to teach my oldest son how to fly fish yesterday.  I think he practiced for 2.5 hours with only a 15 minute break.  He's a determined boy!  :)

For a little extra detail, I added a real fishing lure.  Yes, I raided hubby's tackle box.  I really liked the colors on this lure plus it didn't look like it had been used.  LOL!

I used Copics to color the Gone Fishing Digi Stamp and used this weeks sketch from MMSC59 for the layout!  Hi girls!

Have a great day!

Fantastic! My grandpa was a fly fisherman and you have given me an idea for a scrapbook page! Your card is beautiful, the real fly is such a fun touch!

Sue, this is so, so, so PERFECT!! I LOVE a great masculine card as they are so hard to make, but yours makes it look do-able!! Did that make sense? Probably not. I'm not known for making sense much of the time!! LOL!!

I absolutely LOVE the wood dp and as if that didn't already steal the show, you have added a great image, borders and the fantastic fishing lure. Note: Doesn't look used to me - Whew!

A Wonderful Creation this week Sue and I want to thank you for playing with us this week. Hey, can you come over and play with us again next week toooooo????
