Trash Art Challenge - HSC3

The NEW Challenge at The HotSpot Challenge this month is in honor of Earth Day.  It's all about Trash Art!  Recycle and Reuse those items that you would normally throw away!

For my project I re-purposed a Republic Of Tea tin into a Pencil Holder.

This is the original tin.  I removed the blue paper and revealed the beautiful tin container.

I layered 3 of the Prima Vintage Trinkets and adhered them to the front of the tin.  Even though these flowers are metal they are still very flexible.  I was able to bend them around the curve of the tin to fit perfectly to the roundness of the tin.  Added some pencils and a cute little note card with one more Flower Trinket and the For I Know... digital stamp verse.  It's a great idea for a teacher gift!

Be sure to visit The HotSpot Challenge Blog and see all the other amazing ideas for Trash Art!  Shawne also gave us a face lift.  We are LOOKING FINE!
