MMSC20 - Joy

Welcome to Week #20 of Midnight Madness! For this weeks card, I used another stamp generously given to me by DRS Designs. When coloring this image, I was trying to go for red, but when I added water to ink...it turned pink. It was pretty so I went with it!

I have been DYING to use the Tim Holtz Ornate Plates on a card and couldn't find the right one. This layout fit the bill. I used the Antique Gold one from the package to go with all the gold in the ribbons and stitching.
I broke into a package of the Prima Leaf Swirls Black Pearls. OH boy were those fun too! I just cut sections of the design out and stuck them right on. They are all glued together so they don't move around. Just peel and stick! I probably only used 1/3 of the pearls that came in the package. Yipee...more for later! :)

Of course, with all these embellishments I had to do some Paper Tole technique on the image itself so it wouldn't get lost!
And as always, we have a new weekly sponsor...Michelle's Scrapbooking. Be sure to pay her a visit and let her know Midnight Madness sent you! :)

Sue...this is so gorgeous. I love that Tim Holtz plate...it looks magnificent. And did I mention that I am ga ga over "pink" Christmas cards. I can't figure it out myself why, I did all pink last year for mine. This needs to be framed for certain!!! lol You do such beautiful creations!
