August 20, 1998 - December 24, 2010
We lost our girl this morning. She's the blondie in the front.
She's had several strokes over the last 13 days.
She had one this morning and I knew this one was bad.
She looked me in the eye and I knew she wasn't going to make it.
I loved her up and told it was ok to close her eyes and go to heaven.
I told her I loved her and she soon passed.
She will be missed.

Oh thats so sad. I'm so sorry! What an awful thing to happen right before Xmas.
OH no Sue... I knew the time was nearing, and I'm so sorry it happened so close to Christmas. But CHristmas is a time for love and sharing that and she knew she was loved so much!! She had the best home i'm sure... BIG HUGS to you and the fam!!
so sorry to hear this - sh went knowing she was loved, be at peace.
Sue...I too am saddened to hear of this...but as Kristine has said she knew she was loved and that she couldn't have asked for a family that loved her more.

I am so sorry Sue for the loss of your beloved Madison. I know she's been having a hard time and probably didnt want to leave you. That was very strong of you to let her go to heaven. I hope she finds my Tally and my Midnight and they can play together.

Hi Sue, I've never visited your blog, but stumbled across it today, which is xmas day in Australia. I can't imagine a day without one of my two labrador girl's, and I can only send my love and prayer's your way to you and your family.
